    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiseptic combination composition for topical application in ENT practice and dentistry. The effect of the drug is due to its constituent components.

    Lysozyme is an enzyme of protein nature (mucolytic enzyme mukopeptide-N-acetylmuramyl-hydrolase) and is used as an antiseptic (causes lysis of the cell membrane of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and viruses). Takes part in the regulation of local nonspecific immunity.

    Pyridoxine exerts a protective effect on the mucosa of the oral cavity (has anti-thtosis effect). Does not affect the pharmacodynamic properties of lysozyme.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Not studied.

    Indications:

    Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums and larynx:

    - gingivitis;

    - stomatitis;

    - catarrhal phenomena of the upper respiratory tract;

    - aphthous ulceration;

    - Herpetic lesions of the oral mucosa (as part of complex therapy);

    - erosion of the oral mucosa of various etiologies.

    Contraindications:

    - hereditary lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose malabsorption / galactose syndrome;

    - Children's age up to 3 years;

    - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Possible use of the drug according to indications during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

    Dosing and Administration:

    The drug is used topically in the mouth. Adults and children over 12 years are prescribed 2 tablets 3-4 times a day, children aged 3-7 years - 1 tablet 3 times a day, children aged 7-12 years - 1 tablet 4 times a day. The course of treatment is 8 days.

    Side effects:

    Possible: allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Symptoms of an overdose are unlikely, can be noted after application in doses that are significantly higher than therapeutic and are manifested by a feeling of numbness, a sensation of tingling, and a loss of sensitivity in the region of the upper and lower extremities.

    Treatment: abundant drink (forced diuresis).

    Interaction:

    When the joint application drug enhances the therapeutic effect of antibiotics, including penicillin, chloramphenicol, nitrofurantoin, enhances the action of diuretics attenuates levodopa activity.

    Isoniazid, penicillamine, pyrazinamide, Immunosuppressants, estrogens and oral contraceptives may amplify the need for pyridoxine (antagonistic action with respect to pyridoxine or increase renal excretion).

    Special instructions:

    In case of an allergic reaction, the drug should be discontinued.
