Do not exceed the recommended dose of the drug.
Patients with diabetes mellitus can take the drug Macrovit ®, but it should be borne in mind that 1 tablet, coated with a shell, contains: 0.61 g of sucrose and 0.15 g of glucose, and the daily dose: 0.61-1,8 g sucrose and 0.15-0.45 g glucose.
Macrovit® contains an azo dye E 110, which can cause a hypersensitivity reaction, with an asthmatic component. Similar reactions are more often observed in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.
It is possible to stain urine yellow - completely harmless and due to the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.
Glycerol can cause headache, as well as gastrointestinal dyspepsia. Macrovit® contains a polyol, which in some cases can cause diarrhea.
The preparation contains 187 mg of lactose, 614 mg of sucrose, 150 mg of glucose and 131 mg of sorbitol, so the drug is not recommended for children with congenital intolerance to glucose and fructose, with glucose malabsorption / galactose syndromes and sucrose / isomaltose deficiency.
