Composition:

Active substance: methylthioninium chloride (methylene blue) - 10 g;

adjuvant: purified water - up to 1000 ml.

Description:Transparent liquid is dark blue.

Pharmacodynamics:Antiseptic, bacteriostatic effect due to the interaction with mucopolysaccharides and proteins of microorganisms.

Indications:The drug is used for burns, pyoderma, folliculitis, urinary tract diseases, incl. cystitis, urethritis.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Pregnancy and lactation:Possible use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:

Outer, local. Adults and children from the moment of birth solution is applied with a tampon or a glass rod to the affected areas 2-3 times a day until the signs of the disease disappear.

For cystitis and urethritis, rinsing cavities with an aqueous solution of 1: 5000 (0.02%) 1-2 times a day.

Side effects:Individual intolerance, allergic reactions. If side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
