Antiseptic. Has bacteriostatic activity. Effective in candidiasis. Removes the mycelium of the fungus from the mucous membranes, disrupts the process of attachment of the fungus to the mucous membranes and inhibits its multiplication.

Indications:

Candidiasis lesions of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, pharynx, genital organs.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, mucosal integrity disorder, pregnancy, lactation.

Dosing and Administration:Locally. Lubricated affected areas of the oral mucosa 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-7 days. When treating vaginal candidiasis (thrush) before applying the drug, it is necessary to perform douching with boiled water or a solution of chamomile, after which a tampon moistened in the preparation is injected into the vagina for 20-30 minutes. The frequency of treatment and the course of treatment depend on the severity of the disease. With minor discharge and itching, the drug is used once a day better at night, and with abundant discharge the drug is applied 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) for 7 days.

Side effects:

Hyperemia, burning sensation in the place of application, allergic reactions.

Special instructions:

When monotherapy of vaginal candidiasis in order to increase the efficiency, it is necessary that medical procedures be performed by medical personnel many times, otherwise the mycelium of the fungus may linger in the crypts of the mucous membrane of the vagina, which leads to a relapse of the disease.
