    Pharmacodynamics:

    Removal of mycelial fungus from the mucous membranes, a violation of the attachment of the fungus to the mucous membranes and inhibition of its reproduction (it is not actually an antifungal agent, since it does not possess fungicidal action). Has antiseptic, bacteriostatic and insecticidal effects.

    Pharmacokinetics:Absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and through damaged skin. Depot in bone tissue and liver. Elimination of the kidneys in unchanged form and intestine for 1 week. Virtually not absorbed through undamaged skin.

    Indications:

    - toandidosic lesions of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, pharynx, upper respiratory tract, urinary tract and genital organs;

    - intertrigo;

    - decubitus.

    Lubricate affected areas of the oral mucosa 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-7 days.

    When treating vaginal candidiasis (thrush) before applying the drug, it is necessary to perform douching with boiled water or a solution of chamomile, after which the tampon moistened in the preparation is injected into the vagina for 20-30 minutes. The frequency of treatment and the course of treatment depend on the severity of the disease. With minor discharge and itching, the drug is used once a day (preferably at night), and with abundant discharge the drug is applied 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) for 7 days.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions.

    Locally: redness and burning sensation at the site of application.
    Overdose:

    When an overdose occurs: abdominal pain, vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, dehydration, weakness, confusion, dermatitis, menstrual irregularities, anemia, muscle twitching of the face and limbs, alopecia, dysfunction of the heart, liver and kidneys.

    Treatment: gastric lavage, forced diuresis, severe poisoning - hemodialysis, intramuscular riboflavin mononucleotide 10 mg per day, correction of water-electrolyte balance and acidosis. Maintaining the functions of the cardiovascular system.

    The efficacy condition for monotherapy of vaginal candidiasis is the treatment of multiple procedures by medical personnel. Otherwise, the cells of the fungus may linger in the crypts of the vagina and lead to a relapse.
