    Composition:

    Composition per 1.0 g:

    Active substance: netilmicina sulfate - 4.55 mg (calculated on netilmicin 3.00 mg).

    Excipients: paraffin liquid - 50 mg, lanolin - 150 mg, purified water-50 mg, paraffin soft white-up to 1.0 g.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Polysynthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic of broad spectrum of action. Communicates with 30S subunit of ribosomes and violates protein synthesis, preventing the formation of a complex of transport and information RNA, violation of the reading of the genetic code and, the formation of non-functional proteins; polyribosomes split and lose the ability to synthesize a protein. AT v high concentrations reduces the barrier function of cell membranes and causes the death of microorganisms.

    Highly active against gram-negative microorganisms (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Serratia spp., Providencia spp., Enterobacter spp., Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Citrobacter spp., Morganella morganii, Aeromonas spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp.), as well as some gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus spp., in t.ch. resistant to other aminoglycosides, penicillin, methicillin, some cephalosporins), some strains Streptococcus spp.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    With topical application of netilmicin, systemic absorption is low. The conducted studies show that after a single application, the concentration of nethylmicin in the tear fluid is: after 5 minutes 256 μg / ml, after 10 minutes 182 μg / ml, after 20 minutes 94 μg / ml and 27 μg / ml 1 h after application.

    Indications:Local application for the treatment of infections of the eyelids and external parts of the eye caused by microorganisms sensitive to netilmicin.
    Contraindications:

    - individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug and other aminoglycosides;

    - Children under 3 years old.

    Pregnancy and lactation:Use during pregnancy is contraindicated. When appointing during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
    Dosing and Administration:Locally. A strip of ointment with a length of 0.5-1 cm is placed in the lower eyelid 3-4 times a day. If the application of ophthalmic ointment is combined with the application of eye drops,holding netilmicin, then it is enough to apply the ointment once a day at night.
    Side effects:

    Side effects were observed in less than 2.% of patients. Registered cases of burning, itching in the eye, redness of the conjunctiva of the eye.

    Overdose:There is no information about drug overdose.
    Interaction:

    At local application of Nettavisk interaction with other preparations is not revealed.

    Special instructions:

    Prolonged local use of antibiotics can cause resistance of microorganisms or the occurrence of a secondary fungal infection.

    In the absence of clinical improvement for a relatively short period of time, or if signs of irritation or sensitization appear, the drug should be discontinued and appropriate treatment initiated.

    Storage conditions:

    Shelf life:

    Shelf life 2 years.

    After opening the tube, the drug should be used within 28 days.
