    Characteristic

    Dandelion roots contain triterpene compounds, sterols, choline, resins, inulin, fatty oil and other biologically active substances.

    Description:

    Pieces of roots of various shapes passing through a sieve with holes 7 mm in size. Color grayish-white with dark brown and yellow impregnations. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is bitter with a sweet aftertaste.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Decoction of the roots of dandelion has a choleretic effect, increases appetite, increases the secretion of gastric juice.

    Indications:

    In the complex therapy of chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia hypomotor type,when the composition of bile changes with the risk of calcification (choleretic agent); to increase appetite and improve digestion - with hypoacid and chronic atrophic gastritis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, gastritis in the acute stage, acute pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, hypersecretion of gastric juice, pregnancy, lactation period, children's age (up to 12 years).

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, close

    lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 10 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material was squeezed. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside 1 / 4-1 / 3 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

    It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.

    Allergic reactions are possible.
