Dosage form: & nbspfilm-coated tablets

Composition:

1 tablet, film-coated, contains:

active substances: oleandomycin phosphate 0.0475 g and tetracycline 0.0775 g (for tablets of 0.125 g) or oleandomycin phosphate 0.095 g and tetracycline 0.155 g (for tablets of 0.25 g);

Excipients: calcium stearate, talcum medical, potato starch; Sheath: methylcellulose, vanillin, titanium dioxide pigment, tween-80, vaseline oil, acid red 2C dye.

Description:

The tablets covered with a cover of pink color, the round form with biconcave surfaces. Two layers are visible on the cross-section.

Pharmacodynamics:

Combined antibacterial agent with a broad spectrum of action, bacteriostatic. Tetracycline is active against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, and the presence of oleandomycin in the preparation determines its high activity against a number of gram-positive cocci, incl. Staphylococcus spp., resistant to benzylpenicillin, tetracycline, etc.antibiotics. Advantages also include a much slower development of resistance of microorganisms to a combination than to each of them separately.

Indications:

Pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchiectatic disease, otitis media, bronchitis, cholecystitis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, endometritis, prostatitis, erysipelas, purulent meningitis, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, tularemia, brucellosis, purulent skin and soft tissue infections, osteomyelitis and others, caused by microorganisms sensitive to the components of the preparation.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy and lactation. hepatic and / or renal failure, leukopenia, mycoses, children's age (up to 8 years).

Dosing and Administration:

Inside, after eating, drink with water.

Adults: 0.25 g four times a day; the maximum daily dose is 2 g.

Children older than 8 years: in a daily dose of 20-30 mg / kg body weight; the frequency of reception is 4 times a day.

The course of treatment is 7-10 days, depending on the severity of the disease.

Side effects:

Nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea, dysphagia, glossitis, esophagitis, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, eosinophilia).

With prolonged use: candidiasis, intestinal dysbiosis, development in the body of deficiency of vitamins of group B and K, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, increased activity of "hepatic" transaminase, hypercreatininaemia, azotemia, hyperbilirubinemia, photosensitivity.

Interaction:

Medicines and foods containing calcium, aluminum, magnesium, iron salts (antacids, iron preparations, milk and dairy products), reduce absorption.

Reduces the effectiveness of oral contraceptives and increases the risk of uterine bleeding.

Reduces the effectiveness of bactericidal drugs.

Increases the nephrotoxicity of methoxyflurane.

When combined with vitamin A, the risk of developing intracranial hypertension increases.

Special instructions:

Prescription of the drug in children during the development of teeth can cause irreversible changes in their color.

Form release / dosage:

The film-coated tablets are 47.5 mg + 77.5 mg and 95 mg + 155 mg.

Packaging:

For 25 tablets in cans of polymer or 10 tablets in a contour mesh package.

Each jar or 1, 2 contour mesh packages with instructions for use are placed in a pack of cardboard.
