    Pharmacodynamics:

    Pantoderm® plus - combined preparation for topical application.

    Dexpanthenol - vitamin B group, a derivative of pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol is converted into an organism into pantothenic acid, which is an integral part of coenzyme A and participates in the processes of acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, in the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids,porphyrins; stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers. It has a regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effect.

    Chlorhexidine antimicrobial is an antiseptic. Effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, Streptococcus spp., as well as yeast-like fungi and dermatophytes. Keeps activity in the presence of blood, pus, various secrets and organic substances.

    The drug Pantoderm® Plus protects the wound surface from infections, suppresses the current infand accelerates healing.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    With topical application dexpanthenol quickly absorbed by the skin and converted to pantothenic acid, binds to plasma proteins (mainly with beta-globulin and albumin). Pantothenic acid is not exposed in the body to metabolism (except for inclusion in coenzyme A), is excreted unchanged.

    Indications:

    Treatment:

    - wounds with the threat of infection, such as abrasions, scratches, cuts, bruises, cracks, burns;

    - infected superficial skin lesions;

    - for the treatment of postoperative wounds;

    - with chronic wounds, for example, trophic ulcers of the lower leg, pressure sores;

    - at cracks and an inflammation of nipples of mammary glands in the period of thoracal feeding.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    In case of severe, deep or heavily soiled wounds (such injuries require medical intervention).

    Pregnancy and lactation:
