Description:

Soft oblong shiny blue capsules, with a capacity of 0.270 to 0.333 ml.

The contents of the capsules are a viscous blue solution.

  • Antacids in combination with drugs that reduce gassing in the intestine
    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Combined drug. Has anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, reduces gassing in the intestine.

    Gvayazulen - has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, weakens allergic reactions, enhances regenerative processes, has an antioxidant effect. Due to the inhibitory effect on the release of histamine from mast cells, the cells of the gastric mucosa, inhibits acid secretion.

    Dimethicone - a hydrophobic polymeric substance with a low surface tension, reducing gassing in the intestine and covering the protective film of the wall of the digestive canal.

    Indications:

    Gastralgia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) 0-1 degree.

    Increased acidity of gastric juice.

    Functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, manifested by increased gas formation, belching, heartburn, nausea, constipation, diarrhea or alternation.

    Preparation for X-ray, ultrasound or instrumental examination of the abdominal organs.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 14 years.

    The medicament contains sorbitol, in this regard, patients with rare hereditary diseases, such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or insufficiency of isomaltase sucrose, should not take the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Possible use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside.

    1 capsule 2-3 times a day before meals (treatment is determined individually), or in case of pain.

    In preparation for studies of the abdominal organs - 1 capsule 2-3 times before the test and 1 capsule on the morning of the study day.

    Side effects:

    In rare cases, allergic reactions, pain and bloating are possible.

    Overdose:

    In case of an overdose, see a doctor. It is possible to increase dose-dependent side effects.

    Pepsan-P does not contain sugar, so it is not contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus.
