Salicylic acid
Non-selectively suppresses COX1 and COX2, regulating the synthesis of prostaglandins. It indiscriminately suppresses synthetases of prostaglandins. Suppresses the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines. Has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.
