    B.05.A.A.07   Hydroxyethyl starch

    Pharmacodynamics:

Colloidal plasma-substituting drug. Binds and retains water, increasing the volume of circulating blood by 130-140% of the administered amount. Reduces the hematocrit, thereby improving the rheological properties of the blood. Reduces plasma viscosity and platelet aggregation, preventing their aggregation. Improves microcirculation, normalizes hemodynamics.

    Pharmacokinetics:

After intravenous administration, it is distributed in the reticuloendothelial system, where it is cleaved with amylase.

The half-life is 24 hours. Elimination by the kidneys.
