Has analgesic and sedative effect.
Pharmacokinetics:
After oral administration, an empty stomach is absorbed up to 80% in the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved in 1-4 hours. The connection with plasma proteins is 64%.
Metabolism in the liver.
The half-life is 17 hours. Elimination by the kidneys, about 30% unchanged.

Contraindications:

Pregnancy and lactation:

Dosing and Administration:
Inside, 0.5-1 mg once a day before bedtime. It is possible to increase the dose to 3 mg.

Overdose:

Interaction:Non-selective α-adrenomimetics, sympathomimetics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (especially indomethacin) weaken the effect.
Enhance the effect of peripheral vasodilators, β-adrenoblockers, diuretics.
With simultaneous use with alcohol, the central nervous system is mutually suppressed.
With simultaneous use with estrogens, fluid retention increases, which leads to an increase in blood pressure.
Special instructions:It is necessary to control blood pressure, especially after the end of treatment - withdrawal syndrome is possible.
During treatment, alcohol is not allowed.
