Pharmacodynamics:Anti-inflammatory action salicylic acid is due to inhibition of COX-2 activity, which leads to a decrease in the production of inflammatory mediators - prostaglandins Pg D2, E2 and I2.
The analgesic effect is associated with a decrease in the synthesis of PgE2, which prevents sensitization of pain receptors to bradykinin, histamine and other chemicals synthesized or released in the inflammatory focus.
Local antibacterial action chloramphenicol is due to reversible binding to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, suppression of protein synthesis.
Ethanol has antiseptic, disinfectant, locally irritating, pronounced antimicrobial action. Coagulates proteins. Has a tanning effect on the skin and mucous membranes. Effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and viruses.
Pharmacokinetics:Absorption from the skin surface is insignificant; association with plasma proteins; biotransformation of the liver (after entering the systemic circulation) to inactive metabolites (CYP3A4); excretion mainly by the kidneys in the form of inactive metabolites.
Indications:Purulent wound infection, burns (superficial and limited deep), bedsores, trophic ulcers, infected wounds.

Adequate and well-controlled studies in humans and animals have not been conducted. There is no information on the penetration into breast milk. Do not apply!
Dosing and Administration:Outwardly: the damaged areas should be treated with a cotton swab dipped in a solution.
Side effects:Allergic reactions; at long application and drawing on extensive surfaces salicylic acid has a resorptive effect.
Interaction:Clinically significant interactions are not described.
Special instructions:Ingredients: salicylic acid - 2 g; chloramphenicol - 2 g; 95% ethanol up to 100 ml.
When used in children, efficacy and safety have not been studied.
