    Pharmacodynamics:
    Sanguirythrin® is derived from the grass makleyi heart-shaped and makleyi melkoplodnoy family poppy. Sangviritrin® is a mixture of bisulfates of two quarantine benzophenanthridine alkaloids of similar structure and properties, selvinarin and chelerythrine.
    Sangviritrin® has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity, acting on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast-like and filamentous fungi. It is active against antibiotic-resistant strains of microorganisms.In therapeutic doses acts bacteriostatically. The mechanism of antimicrobial action of the drug Sangviritrin® is based on suppression of bacterial nuclease, violation of permeability of cell walls, fission walls, nucleoid structure.
    Indications:
    Sanguirythrin® is used as an antimicrobial agent for preventive and curative purposes in children (including newborns and young children) and adults (including pregnant women in the prenatal and postnatal periods).
    As a preventive agent: in newborns to prevent purulent inflammatory skin diseases and in surgical patients - to prevent wound infection.
    As a remedy: with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes of bacterial and fungal etiology, including Candida albicans, in dentistry - with periodontitis, aphthous stomatitis, ulcero-necrotic gingivostomatitis and other mucosal lesions of the oral cavity; in otorhinolaryngology - with angina, diseases of the middle ear and external auditory canal; in surgery - with infected burns,long-term non-healing wounds and ulcers; in gynecology - the drug is prescribed for endocervicitis, colpitis, vaginitis, erosion of the cervix; in dermatology - with pyoderma, superficial blastomycosis, dermatomycosis, etc.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, fungal lesions with phenomena of eczematism. Diseases of the liver and kidneys with impaired function.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Outer, local.
    Newborns are treated with skin folds 2 times a day for the first 5-6 days of life with a sterile cotton swab.
    Treatment of periodontitis is carried out after removal of dental deposits and scraping of pathological gingival pockets. In the gingival pockets injected for 20 minutes, thin turuns, richly moistened with the drug or its aqueous solution. An aqueous solution of the preparation is prepared immediately before use. To prepare an aqueous solution, the preparation is diluted 40 times (1 teaspoon per 200 ml of warm boiled water). The procedure is repeated every day or every other day. The course of treatment is 4-6 procedures. With stomatitis of different etiology on the foci of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, the application of solutionsdrug 2-3 times a day for 2-5 days. Children older than 5 years are prescribed rinsing with a warm aqueous solution of the drug. Children under the age of 5 years with stomatitis mucous membranes of the mouth are lubricated with an aqueous solution of the drug.
    In tonsillitis, the tonsils are treated with the drug once a day for 2-5 days. In addition, adults and children older than 5 years, daily 3-5 times a day, rinse with warm aqueous solution of the drug. Children up to 5 years with this solution smear the mucous membrane of the oral cavity 3-4 times a day. Duration of treatment 3-7 days.
    With external otitis, auricles are injected into the auditory canal, moistened with the drug for 10-15 minutes, 2-3 times a day. The minimum course of treatment is two weeks. With chronic purulent mean otitis, the drug is instilled in adults for 5-8 drops, children - 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day.
    To prevent purulent-inflammatory complications, the wound is treated daily with a sterile gauze swab densely moistened with the drug, covered with a sterile cloth moistened with the same solution and a fixing bandage applied. After 3-4 days, the wound is re-treated with the drug and a dry sterile dressing is applied.The course is determined by the wound healing time and in uncomplicated flow the period of application is 7-10 days.
    To treat infected burns, long-term non-healing wounds and ulcers, open infected fractures, etc., use an aqueous solution of the drug. The aqueous solution of the preparation is washed with wounds and ulcers, as well as applying dressings with a solution on the wound surface. In case of infected burns, dressings are produced every other day, with other wounds - every day 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and severity of the disease.
    With endocervicitis, colpitis, vaginitis, erosions of the cervix, douches, irrigation and lotions are carried out with a warm aqueous solution of the drug every 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 5-10 procedures.
    With pyoderma, superficial blastomycosis and dermatomycosis, including those complicated by mixed flora, the drug is prescribed in the form of bandages or smears of the lesion every day 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is determined by the nature and severity of the disease.
    Side effects:
    Possible local allergic reactions (skin hyperemia).
    When rinsing or lubricating with an aqueous solution of the oral mucosal preparation, the sensationbitterness in the mouth, and when applying the drug on the wound surface - a brief burning sensation. In these cases, the drug is used in lower concentrations.
    Overdose:Until now, there have been no reports of cases of overdose with the use of the drug.
    Interaction:Possible application in combination with local anesthetics (procaine, trimecaine).
    Special instructions:
    The composition of the drug contains at least 27% of ethyl alcohol.
    Avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes. If the solution of the drug gets into the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water.
    With long-term non-healing wounds and ulcers, endocervicitis, colpitis, vaginitis, cervical erosions, pyoderma, superficial blastomycosis and dermatomycosis, including those complicated by mixed flora, it is possible to use combined solutions of the drug in combination with the drug line (0.5%), which is prescribed in the form of bandages or smearing lesions.
    Form release / dosage:
    Solution for external and local use alcohol 0,2%.
    Packaging:
    To 10, 25, 50, 100 ml in bottles of orange glass with a screw mouth, sealed with plastic caps and plastic screw caps.
    To 20, 30, 50 ml in imported bottles of dark glass with a screw mouth, closed with plastic caps screwed on with a control ring and a dropper.
    Each bottle, along with instructions for medical use, is placed in a pack of cardboard for consumer containers.
