    Description:

    Transparent slightly yellowish liquid.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The combined drug has an analeptic effect. Stimulates the respiratory and vasomotor centers of the medulla oblongata. It has a direct effect on the myocardium, strengthening the metabolic processes in it, improving functions and increasing its sensitivity to sympathetic impulses. Increases the tone of peripheral blood vessels. Improves pulmonary ventilation, pulmonary blood flow. Due to its solubility in water, the drug is rapidly absorbed by subcutaneous and intramuscular injection. Does not cause the formation of infiltrates and complications (oleom). Intravenous administration is possible.

    Indications:

    - Acute and chronic heart failure;

    - acute and chronic respiratory failure;

    - cardiogenic and anaphylactic shock.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug (including novocaine).

    Carefully:Arterial hypotension.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Due to the lack of data on the use of Sulfacamfacaine® during pregnancy and during breastfeeding, its use in these periods is not recommended.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Sulfacamphocaine® is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly or intravenously with 2 ml of a 10% solution (0.2 g); if necessary, the frequency of administration is up to 2-3 times a day.

    The maximum daily dose for adults is 12 ml of a 10% solution (1.2 g).

    In acute cases, the drug is administered intravenously (slowly struino or drip) in a single dose of 2 ml of a 10% solution.

    Duration of application is set individually. In chronic respiratory and heart failure, injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly for 20-30 days.

    Side effects:

    When the drug is used, dyspeptic disorders, allergic reactions are possible. It is possible to lower blood pressure (especially in patients with initial arterial hypotension).

    Overdose:

    There is no information.

    Interaction:

    Application of Sulphocamphocaine® in combination with cardiac glycosides, steroid hormones, analgesics enhances the analeptic effect of the drug.

    Special instructions:

    Care should be taken when administering the drug to patients with low blood pressure in connection with the possibility of developing antihypertensive action of novocaine released in the body from Sulfacamfocaine®.

    Form release / dosage:

    Solution for injection, 100 mg / ml.

    Packaging:

    2 ml per ampoule of colorless glass 1 hydrolytic class.

    10 ampoules are placed in a box of cardboard.

    5 or 10 ampoules are placed in a contour mesh box made of a polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil or without foil.

    1 (5 or 10 ampoules each) or 2 (5 ampoules each), contiguous cell packs are placed in a bundle.

    Instructions for medical use are enclosed in the box and pack.

    Storage conditions:

    In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.
