    R.07.A.B   Respiratory stimulants

    Pharmacodynamics:Combined drug. Has an analeptic effect, stimulates the respiratory and vasomotorth centers. Has a direct effect on the myocardium, strengthening metabolic processes and increasing its sensitivity to sympathetic impulses. Increases the tone of peripheral blood vessels. Improves lung ventilation, pulmonary blood flow. Increases the secretion of bronchial glands.
    Pharmacokinetics:Due to the solubility in water, the preparation quickly absorbed with subcutaneous and intramuscular injection. Does not cause the formation of infiltrates and complications (oleom).
    Indications:Acute cardiopulmonaryI am insufficiency, cardiogenic shock, anaphylactic shock. To stimulate respiration in chronic respiratory and heart failure, pemmonias, infectious diseases.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, age under 18 years (efficacy and safety not established).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Category of recommendations FDA is not defined. Adequate and well-controlled studies in humans and animals have not been conducted.

    There is no information on the penetration into breast milk. Do not apply.

    Dosing and Administration:Subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously (jet or drip), 2 ml of 10% solution, 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 12 ml of a 10% solution.
    Side effects:Decrease in blood pressure (especially in patients with initially lowered blood pressure), allergic reactions, dyspeptic disorders.
    Overdose:No data.
    Interaction:Combined application of combination procaine + sulfocamphoric acid and combinations Bendazole + metamizol sodium + papaverine + phenobarbital reduces the hypotensive effect of the latter.
