A mixture of pieces of leaves, stems, flower baskets, individual flowers passing through a sieve with holes 7 mm in size. Color grayish green with whitish-yellow impregnations. The smell is weak, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of the water extract is bitterish-spicy.

Yarrow grass contains essential oil, which includes chamazulene, millepholide, borneol, tannins, vitamins C, K,bitterness, flavonoids, saponins, macro- and microelements, and other biologically active substances.

Pharmacodynamics:

Infusion yarrow herbs has spasmolytic, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications:

As part of complex therapy in the abundant menstrual bleeding, minor bleeding in the postcoagulable period of treatment of cervical erosion. Spasm of smooth musculature of the gastrointestinal tract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, children under 12 years.

Carefully:

With increased clotting of blood, thromboembolism (in the anamnesis).

Pregnancy and lactation:

Do not use the drug inside during breastfeeding, due to the lack of data on the safety of its use in nursing mothers. Information on the possible penetration of biologically active substances of yarrow grass into breast milk is absent.If it is necessary to use the drug, you should decide whether to stop breastfeeding during the period of taking the drug.

Dosing and Administration:

About 15 g (3 tablespoons) are placed in glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted
boiled water up to 200 ml.
Take inside in a warm form for 2 - 3 tablespoons 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
