    Description:

    Characteristic.

    The yarrow herb contains flavonoids, essential oil, vitamin K, bitterness, tannins, organic acids, macro and microelements and other biologically active substances.

    Description.

    Pieces of leaves, stems, flower baskets and individual flowers. Color from greyish-green to yellowish-green with yellowish-white, light green, white,reddish-green and grayish-brown interspersed. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of the water extract is spicy, bitter.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of herb yarrow has a hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect.

    Indications:

    Abundant menstrual bleeding (as part of complex therapy), minor bleeding in the postcoagulable period of cervical erosion treatment. Spasm of smooth musculature of the gastrointestinal tract.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug and other plants of the family Astrological; pregnancy, children under 12 years.

    Carefully:

    With increased clotting of blood, thromboembolism (in the anamnesis).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Do not use the drug inside during breastfeeding, due to the lack of data on the safety of its use in nursing mothers. Information on the possible penetration of biologically active substances of yarrow grass into breast milk is absent.If it is necessary to use the drug, you should decide whether to stop breastfeeding during the period of taking the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 15 g (3 tablespoons) herb milfoil placed in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, capped, and heated in a boiling water bath with occasional stirring for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials squeeze out. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Infusion is taken orally in the form of heat 2-3 tablespoons 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.
