    Pharmacodynamics:CYCLOPHERON® is a low-molecular inducer of interferon, which determines a wide range of its biological activity (antiviral, immunomodulating, anti-inflammatory).
    CYCLOPHERON® is effective against the herpes virus and other pathogens. Has a direct antiviral effect, suppressing the reproduction of the virus in the early stages (1-5 days) of the infectious process.
    The main clinical effect of the action of CYCLOPHERON® liniment is associated with the induction of early aterferon.The drug normalizes the cytokine imbalance of opposing forms of the immune response. The local pharmacotherapeutic effect of CYCLOFERON® is due to the stimulation of a local immune response in the lymphoid tissue of the mucous membrane.
    The effectiveness of the CYCLOPHERON® liniment in the treatment of chronic periodontitis is manifested in the suppression of the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and the normalization of the level of secretory immunoglobulin A in the fluid of the dentogingival pockets, which ensures a qualitative sanitation of the oral cavity, helping to reduce inflammation and bleeding gums.
    Indications:In adults in complex therapy:
    - herpetic infection of the skin and mucous membranes;
    - nonspecific vaginitis and vaginosis;
    - chronic periodontitis.

    Contraindications:Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, age to 18 years, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Contraindicated use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
    Dosing and Administration:Locally:
    With herpetic infection liniment is applied a thin layer on the affected area 1-2 times a day for five days.With genital herpes, intravaginal instillations once a day for 5 ml for 10-15 days daily.
    With the treatment of nonspecific vaginitis and bacterial vaginosis: the drug is administered intravaginally 5-10 ml daily for 10-15 days 1-2 times a day. It is possible to apply tampons impregnated with liniment.
    In chronic forms of disease, the drug is well combined with other drugs (vaginal tablets, suppositories).
    For intravaginal application: open the tube, pierce the membrane with a syringe (5 ml volume) with a disposable needle, type liniment, remove and discard the NEEDLE. In the lying position, insert the filled syringe into the vagina and squeeze the liniment with the help of the piston.
    If there is a vaginal applicator in the package, pierce the tube membrane, install the applicator on the hole. Press the liniment into the cavity of the applicator until the entire piston is pushed out. The filled applicator should be removed from the tube opening, inserted into the vagina and squeezed out the liniment with the help of a piston.
    To prevent free evacuation of the drug, the vaginal opening is swabbed with a small sterile cotton swab for 2-3 hours.
    If necessary, you can repeat the course after 14 days.
    When treating chronic periodontitis, it is advisable to rinse the periodontal pockets with an antiseptic before applying liniment, then apply the drug in a volume of 1.5 ml per gum using the application method (do not rub) 1-2 times a day with an interval of 10-12 hours. Duration of therapy is 12-14 days. If necessary, repeat the course after 14 days.
    Side effects:Allergic reactions. Possible short-term burning, minor local hyperemia. Side effects are mild and do not require drug withdrawal.
    Overdose:There is no information about drug overdose.
    Interaction:CYCLOPHERON® liniment is compatible with all medicines traditionally used in the treatment of these diseases (chemotherapeutic drugs, etc.).
    In chronic forms of disease, the drug is well combined with other drugs (vaginal tablets and suppositories).
    Enhances the effect of antibiotics, antiseptics and antifungal drugs.
    Special instructions:The drug has a bitter taste.
    It is not recommended to intensively rub the drug into the gum.
    Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, wash eyes with water.
    If there is no curative effect, you should consult your doctor.
