    Pharmacodynamics:

The drug is a means of etiotropic and immunostimulating therapy, has antiviral action against influenza A and B viruses and other viruses that cause acute respiratory viral diseases.

Bendazol induces in the body the production of endogenous interferon, has an immunomodulatory effect (normalizes the immune response of the body). Enzymes, the production of which is induced by interferon in the cells of various organs, inhibit the replication of viruses.

Alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan (thymogen) is a synergistic immunomodulatory action of bendazole, normalizing the T-cell link of immunity.

Ascorbic acid activates the humoral unit of immunity, normalizes the permeability of capillaries, thereby reducing inflammation, and exhibits antioxidant properties, neutralizing the oxygen radicals accompanying the inflammatory process, increases the body's resistance to infection.

    Pharmacokinetics:

When ingested, the drug is completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Bioavailability of bendazole - about 80%, alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan - no more than 15%, ascorbic acid - 90%. Metabolites of ascorbic acid and bendazole are excreted in the urine. Alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan under the action of peptidases is split into L-glutamic acid and L-tryptophan, which are used by the body in peptide synthesis.
