    Pharmacodynamics:

    Softens the stool masses; has a weak stimulating effect on intestinal motility. The laxative effect occurs in 6-8 hours.

    Pharmacokinetics:When ingestion is not absorbed.
    Indications:Constipation. It can be used as an external remedy (in children) and as a basis for various ointments.
    Contraindications:

    Acute inflammatory processes in the abdominal cavity, intestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, febrile syndrome, pregnancy, hypersensitivity to the drug.

    It can not be used as a laxative for poisoning with fat-soluble substances (phosphorus, benzene, etc.) and in the treatment of helminthic invasion with male fern extract.

    Pregnancy and lactation:In pregnancy and lactation, the use of Vaseline oil is contraindicated because of the possible reflex stimulating effect of the drug on the uterus.
    Dosing and Administration:Inside, 15-30 ml (1-2 tablespoons) a day, 2 hours after eating. The course of treatment is not more than 5 days.
