Composition:
1 g of cream for external use contains:
active substance: chestnut horse seed extract dry - 50.0 mg (corresponding to β-escin - 10.0 mg); Excipients: disodium edetate 0.1 mg; sorbic acid 2.0 mg; glyceryl monostearate - 18.0 mg; Vaseline white - 192.0 mg; mineral oil - 18.0 mg; cetostearyl alcohol (cetyl alcohol 60%, stearic alcohol 40%, Lanette O) 54.0 mg; glyceryl caprylcaprate (Miglyol 812) - 12.0 mg; propylene glycol 30.0 mg; silicon dioxide colloid (Aerosil 200) -0.6 mg; Hyethellosis (hydroxyethylcellulose, polymer JR-400 UC) - 15.0 mg; simethicone 1.0 mg; polysorbate 40 (Tween 40) - 48.0 mg; purified water - up to 1.0 g.

    • Pharmacodynamics:
    Eszin is found in the seeds of horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L., semen). It is a mixture of triterpene saponins. Eszin has an anti-inflammatory effect mainly in the initial phase of the inflammatory reaction, "sealing" the walls of the capillaries and thus reducing their permeability, increased with inflammation.
    It has antihistaminic and antiserotonin effects.Saponin fraction of horse chestnut inhibits prostaglandin synthetase, an enzyme that plays an important role in the formation of prostaglandins involved in the formation of an inflammatory reaction.
    Eszin also has a positive effect on the fragility of the walls of the capillaries and increases the tone of the venous walls when it is weakened. All this leads to a reduction in stagnation in the venous bed and accumulation of fluid in the tissues, preventing the appearance of edema.
    Indications:
    - venous insufficiency (pain and heaviness in the legs, night cramps in the calf muscles, itching of the skin, swelling of the legs), a feeling of heaviness in the legs and with prolonged standing;
    - phlebeurysm;
    - trauma (bruises, swelling of soft tissues, posttraumatic hematomas, sprain), infiltrates after injections.
    Contraindications:
    - hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug;
    - presence of damaged skin in the therapy zone (burns, eczema, open wounds);
    - Children under 12 years of age (no clinical data on use).
    Carefully:Propensity to thrombosis.
    Pregnancy and lactation:There are no clinical data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation.Cream Venitan® H should not be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Outwardly.
    Thin layer of cream Venitan® H should be applied to the skin in the area of ​​the painful areas and around them and gently rubbed. The cream should be applied 2-3 times a day. In case of varicose veins of the lower extremities, it is also recommended to use an elastic bandage or wear special compressive linen.
    If there is no improvement, after 14 days of using Venitan® N, consult a doctor. The course of treatment can be extended up to 8 weeks or until the symptoms of the disease disappear.
    Side effects:
    According to the World Health Organization (WHO), unwanted effects are classified according to their frequency of development as follows:
    very often (> 1/10),
    often (> 1/100, <1/10),
    infrequently (> 1/1000, <1/100),
    rarely (> 1/10000, <1/1000) and
    very rarely (<1/10000);
    frequency is unknown - according to available data, it was not possible to establish the frequency of occurrence.
    Allergic reactions:
    rarely: allergic dermatitis (itchy skin, redness of the skin, rashes on the skin), burning sensation.
    In these cases, stop treatment immediately and consult a doctor.
    Overdose:Data on the overdose of the drug Venitan® N are absent.
    Interaction:
    Not noted.
    Simultaneous application of cream Venitan® H and other medications for topical application on the same skin area is not recommended.
    Special instructions:
    Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not apply the cream on the damaged skin and mucous membranes, as well as in the presence of purulent processes. Do not massage when applied. If there are severe symptoms of venous insufficiency (swelling, discoloration, sensation of tension and pain), consult a doctor immediately.
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
    Form release / dosage:
    Cream for external use 5%.
    Packaging:
    For 50 g of the drug in an aluminum tube, sealed membrane on the neck of the tube, sealed with a screw-on plastic
    cap, conical a device for puncturing the membrane. 1 tube per second instructions for use are put in a cardboard box (the instruction is printed on paper with watermarks in the form of a logo of the holder of the registration certificate).
    Storage conditions:
    At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
