    Pharmacodynamics:

    The main active substance is a hypericid. Inhibits the activity of monoamine oxidase A-type and to a lesser extent B-type, due to which it has an anxiolytic effect. Binding benzodiazepine receptors, has a sedative effect. Inhibits the reuptake of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine, which has an antidepressant effect.

    Improves mood, normalizes sleep, increases physical and mental performance.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    After oral administration, the empty stomach is completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved after 1 hour.

    Therapeutic effect develops after the reception. Metabolism in the liver.

    T ½ is 37 hours. Elimination by the kidneys.

    Indications:

    It is used to treat depression, asthenia, a sense of anxiety and anxiety, arousal for skin diseases. Used for pain, injuries, burns.

    Contraindications:

    Simultaneous reception with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, indinavir, cyclosporine and other protease inhibitors, photodermatitis, age 12 years, pregnancy and lactation, individual intolerance.

    Interaction:

    Reduces the effects of indirect anticoagulants, nortriptyline, amitriptyline.

    Strengthens the antidepressant effect of monoamine oxidase inhibitors and increases the risk of developing hypertensive crises with simultaneous application. It is recommended to observe the interval not less than 14 days.

    When combined with paroxetine, sertraline, fluvoxamine, fluoxetine, citalopram increases the risk of developing a serotonin crisis and aggravates hemolytic reactions.

    Strengthens the photosensitizing effect of sulfonamides, tetracycline, quinolones, thiazide diuretics, piroxicam.

    Reduces the concentration of cyclosporine in the blood plasma and the hypotensive effect of reserpine.

    Strengthens the action of funds for general anesthesia and narcotic analgesics.

    Shortens the sleep time caused by barbiturates.

    Reduces the concentration in the blood plasma digoxin, cyclosporine, indinavir.

    Enhances the metabolism of theophylline.

    With simultaneous use with desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol increases the risk of developing "breakthrough bleeding."

    Special instructions:

    When taking the drug is not recommended driving and working with moving machinery.

    During treatment, ethanol and ultraviolet radiation should be avoided.
