    Composition:

    100 g of ointment contains:

    active substances: betamethasone dipropionate in terms of 100% substance 0.064 g, equivalent to 0.05 g betamethasone, salicylic acid in terms of 100% substance 3 g;

    Excipients: paraffin liquid (vaseline oil) 10 g, vaseline up to 100 g.

    Description:

    Translucent ointment from white to white with a yellowish hue of color. A weak specific odor is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Combination drug for external use, which has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiseptic, keratolytic action.

    Betamethasone dipropionate - Glucocorticosteroid, has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiexudative, anti-edematous and antipruritic effect. It inhibits the accumulation of leukocytes, the release of lysosomal enzymes and pro-inflammatory mediators in the focus of inflammation, inhibits phagocytosis, reduces vascular-tissue permeability, prevents the formation of inflammatory edema.

    Salicylic acid provides keratolytic, antimicrobial action, eliminates horny layers and promotes deeper penetration of the glucocorticosteroid.

    Indications:

    Local treatment of dermatoses accompanied by hyperkeratosis: psoriasis, limited and diffuse neurodermatitis, lichen planus, eczema, dyshidrotic dermatitis, ichthyosis and ichthyosomal changes.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, skin tuberculosis, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, trophic ulcers on the background of chronic venous insufficiency, skin tumors (skin cancer, nevus, atheroma, epithelioma, melanoma, hemangioma, xanthoma, sarcoma) ; skin manifestations of syphilis, chickenpox, herpes simplex,dermal post-vaccination reactions, open wounds, lactation period, children under 1 year.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Safety of topical application of glucocorticosteroids in pregnant women is not established; prescription of drugs of this group during pregnancy It is justified only if the potential benefit exceeds the possible risk. During pregnancy, drugs of this group should not be used in high doses or for a long time.

    It has not been established whether the local use of glucocorticosteroids can cause them to appear in the mother's milk, so the question of stopping breastfeeding should be addressed.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly.

    Acriderm® SK is applied a thin layer on the affected area of ​​the skin 2 times a day - in the morning and in the evening.

    Another frequency of use can be determined by the doctor, based on the severity of the disease. In light cases, the ointment is sufficient to apply, as a rule, once a day; with more severe lesions may need more frequent use.

    Side effects:

    With topical application of glucocorticosteroids can be observed: burning, irritation, dry skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis,acne-like rashes, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis.

    With prolonged use, as well as the use of occlusive dressings - Maceration of the skin, secondary infection, skin atrophy, sweating, purpura.

    When applied to large areas of the body, mainly in children, there may be systemic side effects of glucocorticosteroids and salicylates.

    If there are any side effects not described in the instructions, you should consult your doctor.

    Overdose:

    Acute overdose is unlikely, but with excessive or prolonged use of the drug, a chronic overdose is possible, accompanied by signs of hypercorticoidism: hyperglycemia, glucosuria, reversible suppression of adrenal cortex function, manifestation of Cushing's syndrome.

    Treatment. The corresponding symptomatic treatment was shown. In the case of chronic toxic effects, a gradual withdrawal of the drug is recommended.

    Interaction:

    Interactions with other drugs have not been identified.

    Special instructions:

    If there are signs of increased sensitivity or skin irritation associated with the use of the drug, you should stop treatment and choose the patient adequate therapy.

    With prolonged treatment, when applying the drug on the vast skin surface, with the use of occlusive dressings, as well as in children, it is possible to systemically absorb glucocorticosteroids.

    Children from 1 year of the drug is prescribed only for strict indications and under medical supervision, as it is possible to develop systemic side effects associated with betamethasone. When applying the drug on large surfaces and / or under the occlusive dressing, it is possible to suppress the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system and the development of symptoms of hypercorticism, a decrease in the excretion of growth hormone, an increase in intracranial pressure can be observed.

    On the skin of the face more often than on other surfaces of the body, after prolonged treatment with local glucocorticosteroids, atrophic changes may appear; the course of treatment in this case should not exceed 5 days.

    Acriderm® SK Ointment is not intended for use in ophthalmology. Avoid contact with eyes.

    With prolonged use of the drug, it should be canceled gradually.

    Ointment for external use 0,05% + 3%.

    Packaging:

    For 15 or 30 g in an aluminum tube.

    Each tube together with the instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.
