    Pharmacodynamics:

    Reversibly suppresses the hyperactivity of macrophages (for 6-8 hours), reduces the number of acute phase inflammatory proteins that cause intoxication and diarrheal syndrome. Enhances the antibacterial activity of neutrophils, their phagocytic ability, increasing nonspecific immune responses of the body.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Half-life: 15-30 minutes. Elimination by the kidneys.

    Indications:

    It is used for relief of acute intoxication syndrome, accompanied by diarrhea.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Pregnancy and lactation: recommendations for FDA - category is not defined. It is not recommended for use in pregnant and lactating women.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Intramuscularly (dilute in 2-3 ml of saline) or rectally (suppositories) in an acute period of 0.2 g (initial dose), then 0.1 g 3-4 times a day, every 6 hours until relief of symptoms. The general course of treatment is 10 days.

    The highest daily dose is 1 g.

    The highest single dose is 0.2 g.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:Cases of overdose are not described.
