Combined drug, the effect of which is determined by the components that make up its composition.
Acetylsalicylic acid has antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and also reduces platelet aggregation.
Antiaggregate effect persists for 7 days after a single dose (more pronounced in men than in women). Increases fibrinolytic activity of plasma and reduces the concentration of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It increases hemorrhagic complications during surgical interventions, increases the risk of bleeding on the background of therapy with anticoagulants.
Stimulates the excretion of uric acid (violates its reabsorption in the renal tubules), but in high doses.
In the body, it circulates and is distributed in tissues as an anion of salicylic acid.
Salicylates easily penetrate into many tissues and body fluids. Salicylic acid is metabolized primarily in the liver, is excreted primarily through active secretion in the renal tubules in the form of salicylic acid proper and its metabolites.
Ascorbic acid allows to satisfy the increased needs of the body in vitamin C for diseases accompanied by increased temperature, and reduces vascular permeability. Ascorbic acid plays an important role in the regulation of oxidation-reduction processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulability, tissue regeneration, contributes to the body's resistance.
