Pharmacodynamics:

Infusion of shoots of wild rosemary has an expectorant effect; has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antihypertensive properties; has an exciting effect on the central nervous system and myometrium.

Indications:

Applied in adults as an expectorant for inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract; accompanied by a cough with hard-to-separate sputum (bronchitis, tracheitis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 18 years.

Pregnancy and lactation:Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Dosing and Administration:

10 g (2-3 tablespoons) of crushed shoots are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of cold boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed . The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take inside in a warm form of 1/3 - 1/4 cup 2-3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2 weeks. Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

There may be allergic reactions, dizziness, increased nervous excitability, when taking high doses, symptoms of excitation or depression of the central nervous system are noted.

Interaction:

Do not use concomitantly with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult to cough up thinned phlegm.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

With prolonged use of the drug in large doses, it is possible to reduce the rate of psychomotor reactions, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles, working with mechanisms.
