D.08.A.D Preparations of boric acid

Pharmacodynamics:

Antiseptic.

Indications:

A solution of boric acid is used in otolaryngology with external acute and chronic otitis without damaging the tympanic membrane.

Contraindications:

Violation of kidney function, child age, pregnancy, lactation period, individual intolerance, violation of the integrity of the tympanic membrane.

Dosing and Administration:

The solution is instilled in the ear 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day or tyurundum, moistened with a solution, is injected into the auditory canal.

Side effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, desquamation of the epithelium, headache, confusion, convulsions, impaired renal function.

Special instructions:

Avoid application to mucous membranes and extensive body surfaces.

Form release / dosage:

Solution for local application of alcohol, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3%.

Packaging:

To 25 ml, 40 ml in bottles of lightproof glass, sealed with stoppers and lids screwed; to 25 ml in bottles of brown glass,Capped with screw caps with droppers; 100 ml in cans of lightproof glass.

Each vial, a jar along with instructions for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.
