    Composition:

    One tablet of the sublingual contains: active substance: glycine - 100.0 mg;

    Excipients: methylcellulose - 1.3 mg; magnesium stearate - 0.7 mg.

    Description:

    Round flat-cylindrical tablets of white or almost white color with a bevel. Presence of marble is admissible.

    Pharmacodynamics:A replaceable amino acid, the central neurotransmitter of the inhibitory type of action. It improves the metabolic processes in the brain tissues, has an antidepressant and sedative effect. Has GABA-ergic, alpha1-adrenoblocking, antioxidant and antitoxic action, regulates the activity of glutamate (NMDA) receptors, due to which reduces psychoemotional tension, aggressiveness and conflict; improves social adaptation and mood; facilitates sleep and normalizes sleep; increases mental performance; reduces the severity of vegetative-vascular disorders (including in the climacteric period), reduces the toxic effect of ethanol on the central nervous system. Effective as an adjunct to epileptic seizures.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    Easily penetrates into most biological fluids and body tissues, including the brain, not cumulates. Rapidly destroyed in the liver by glycine oxidase to water and carbon dioxide.

    Indications:

    - Stress states (including psychoemotional stress);

    - decreased mental performance;

    - deviant forms of behavior in children and adolescents;

    - functional and organic diseases of the nervous system, accompanied by increased excitability, emotional instability, decreased mental performance and sleep disturbances: neuroses, neurosis-like conditions, the consequences of neuroinfections and craniocerebral trauma, perinatal and other forms of encephalopathies (including alcoholic genesis);

    - ischemic stroke;

    - in narcology: as a means of increasing mental performance and reducing psychoemotional stress during remission in cases of encephalopathy, organic lesions of the central and peripheral nervous system.

    Contraindications:

    - Hypersensitivity to the active substance (glycine) or to any auxiliary substance of the drug;

    - children's age to three years.

    Carefully:

    Arterial hypotension.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug is not recommended during pregnancy and during breastfeeding due to the lack of sufficient data on the safety of the drug during this period.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Sublingually or buccally on 100 mg (in tablets or as a powder after grinding the tablet).

    Almost healthy children, adolescents and adults with psychoemotional stress, memory loss, attention, mental performance, mental retardation, with deviant forms of behavior, the drug Glycine prescribe 100 mg 2-3 times a day for 14-30 days.

    Children over 3 years and adults are prescribed 100 mg 2-3 times a day, the course of treatment is 7-14 days, it can be increased to 30 days, if necessary, the course is repeated after 30 days. If sleep disorders are prescribed for 20 minutes before bedtime or just before bedtime, 100 mg.

    With ischemic cerebral stroke: for the first 3-6 hours from the development of a stroke, 1 g (10 tablets) is given transbuccally or sublingually with 1 teaspoon of water, then for 1-5 days, 1 g / day (10 tablets), then for the next 30 days 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.

    In narcology, 100 mg 2-3 times a day for 14-30 days. If necessary, the courses are repeated 4-6 times a year.

    Interaction:

    It reduces the severity of side effects of antipsychotic drugs (antipsychotics), anxiolytics, antidepressants, hypnotics and anticonvulsant drugs.

    Special instructions:

    In patients with a tendency to hypotension, the drug is taken in smaller doses and under the control of blood pressure, when it decreases below the usual level, the drug intake Glycine is terminated.

    5, 10 or 20 tablets in a contour cell box made of a polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil.

    10, 20 or 50 tablets in a can of high-density polyethylene.

    2 contour cell packs of 5 tablets, 1, 2 or 5 contiguous cell packs of 10 tablets, 1 circuit pack of 20 tablets each, or one bank along with instructions for use in a pack of cardboard.
