Pharmacodynamics:Sedative and spasmolytic vasodilating, improving, blood supply and metabolism of the myocardium. The composition of the action is similar to the prescription, known as a drop of Votchala.
Indications:Stenocardia, cardialgia.
Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to nitrates, shock, collapse, simultaneous use of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (sildenafil, vardenafil or tadalafil), age under 18 years (efficacy and safety not established).
Carefully:Intracranial hypertension, conditions accompanied by a decrease in the filling pressure of the left ventricle, incl. cardiac tamponade, isolated mitral stenosis, constrictive pericarditis, uncontrolled hypovolemia, heart failure with normal or low pulmonary arterial pressure, hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral trauma (recently transferred), pulmonary edema, idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis, closed-angle glaucoma high intraocular pressure; severe anemia, hyperthyroidism, cerebral circulation, shock, arterial hypotension (systolic blood pressure less than 90 mm Hg), alcoholism.

Dosing and Administration:Under the tongue.10-15 drops are taken with a small amount of liquid or applied to a piece of sugar and kept in the mouth (under the tongue), not swallowing until it is completely absorbed. Side effects:

From the cardiovascular system: orthostatic hypotension, "nitrate" headache, tachycardia, hyperemia, a feeling of heat.

Overdose:

Symptoms: marked decrease in arterial pressure with orthostatic dysregulation, reflex tachycardia, headache; asthenia can develop; dizziness, increased drowsiness, a feeling of heat, nausea; vomiting.If you suspect an overdose, seek medical help immediately.

Interaction:Simultaneous application with vasodilators, antihypertensive agents (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, beta-adrenoblockers, slow calcium channel blockers), procainamide, tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitorssildenafil, vardenafil or tadalafil), as well as ethanol, enhances the hypotensive effect. Simultaneous application with sapropterin increases the risk of developing arterial hypotension.
Special instructions:Against the backdrop of the use of the drug Carneland®, it is possible to significantly reduce blood pressure and the appearance of dizziness during a sharp transition to the "standing" position from the "lying" or "sitting" position; at the use of alcohol, at performance of physical exercises and at hot weather. To the drug Carneland®, as well as to all organic nitrates, with frequent use, addiction develops, and a dose increase is required. The composition of the drug contains at least 75% of ethyl alcohol.The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 1.96 g of ethanol.
Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:During the treatment period, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
