    Composition:

    Cinnamon rootstocks.

    Characteristic

    Rhizomes contain tannins, saponins, resinous substances, flavonoids, phenol carboxylic acids, starch and other biologically active substances.

    Description:

    Pieces of rhizomes of various shapes. The color is reddish brown with dark brown, almost black, less often yellowish patches. The smell is weak, fragrant. The taste of water extract is very astringent.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The broth has an astringent, anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Applied internally with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea, enteritis, colitis); locally - in the form of lotions and rinses with inflammatory processes of the oral cavity and pharynx (stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packs (5.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water, cover and insist 30 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside 1 / 2-1 / 3 cup 2-3 times a day before meals; course of treatment - 7-10 days. The broth is used topically for lotions and 1/4 cup for rinsing 3-5 times a day; course of treatment - 5-14 days.

    It is recommended to stir up the broth before use.

    Allergic reactions are possible. Long-term use of large doses can cause loss of appetite, constipation.

    By 2.5 g in filter bags, 10 filter bags or 20 filter bags in a pack of cardboard.
