    Composition:

    To prepare 1000 ml of the drug you need:

    Ethyl alcohol 95% (ethanol) - 1210 ml.

    Description:

    The liquid is from light brown with an orange tinge to a reddish-brown color with a characteristic odor. Sediment is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Promotes increased renal filtration, reduces azotemia, increases the excretion of nitrogenous slags in the urine, raises diuresis and eliminates sodium ions and to a lesser extent potassium ions.

    Indications:Chronic renal failure (symptomatic therapy).
    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, craniocerebral trauma, brain disease, age of 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 5-15 ml (1 teaspoonful - 1 tablespoon) 3-4 times a day. Dilution of the preparation with water before use is permitted. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. Conducting a second course of treatment is possible in 2-3 weeks after consulting a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. AT rare cases - hyponatremia.

    Interaction:

    In connection with the content of ethanol in the preparation, simultaneous administration of disulfiram, sedative drugs, nonselective monoamine oxidase inhibitors, insulin, metformin, sulfonamide is contraindicated. When co-prescribing several drugs, it is necessary to take into account the presence of ethanol in the preparation, since it can alter or enhance the effect of other drugs.

    Special instructions:

    With the development of hyponatremia, it should be compensated by the introduction of drugs containing sodium ions.

    The drug contains at least 40% ethanol. In the maximum single dose of the drug, the ethanol content is not less than 4.7 g, in the maximum daily dose - not less than 18.8 g.

    During the period of treatment, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities requiring increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
