Composition:

Schizandra seeds - 200 g,

Ethyl alcohol 95% (ethanol) - to obtain 1 liter of tincture.

Description:

Transparent liquid of lemon yellow color, characteristic odor. During the storage, the appearance of oily droplets is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics:Has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, cardiovascular and respiratory system, raises blood pressure, mental and physical performance.
Indications:Asthenic syndrome, fatigue, in complex therapy with weakening of sexual function on the basis of neurasthenia,mental and physical overstrain, reconvalescence after somatic and infectious diseases, neurocirculatory dystonia by hypotonic type, to improve the working capacity of the organism.
Contraindications:

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, hypertension, cardiac disorders, increased excitability, epilepsy, convulsions, sleep disorders, acute infectious diseases, chronic liver disease. The drug is not recommended for use in pregnancy, lactation and children under 12 years.

Dosing and Administration:Inside for 20-30 drops, diluted in a small amount of water 2-3 times a day for 30-40 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 30-40 days. Repeated course - on the advice of a doctor.
Side effects:

Allergic reactions, tachycardia, headache are possible. When using the drug, sleep disturbances and increased blood pressure may occur.

Interaction:

Possible potentiation of the action of stimulants and analeptics (caffeine, camphor, amphetamine, etc.), the drug is a physiological antagonist of drugs that depress the central nervous system (including barbiturates,tranquilizers, sedatives, neuroleptics, etc.).
