    Composition:

    In 100 g of ointment contains:

    Active substance: Dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene (Tetracsoline) 0.25 g;

    Excipients: paraffin liquid (Vaseline oil), petroleum jelly.

    Description:Ointment from white to light yellow color.
    Note. During storage, a pink tint is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:Has antiviral activity, blocking the binding of the influenza virus to the surface of the cell membrane, protects cells from penetrating the virus.
    Pharmacokinetics:

    When applied to the mucosa, about 20% of the drug is absorbed. In the body, it is not cumulated and excreted mainly by the kidneys during the day.

    Indications:

    Treatment of viral rhinitis, prevention of influenza.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Carefully:Pregnancy, lactation, children under 2 years.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Locally. Treatment of viral rhinitis: the mucous membrane of the nose is lubricated with ointment 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days.

    Prevention of influenza: in the period of recovery and maximum development of an epidemic outbreak of influenza, or in contact with an influenza patient, the mucous membrane of the nose is lubricated with ointment 2-3 times a day for 25 days daily.

    Side effects:

    A rapid burning sensation of the nasal mucosa, rhinorrhea.

    Overdose:

    The phenomenon of drug overdose is not described.

    Interaction:

    Negative manifestations when combined with other drugs have not been identified.

    Special instructions:

    The drug is not intended for use in viral lesions of the eyes.

    Form release / dosage:

    Ointment nasal 0,25%.

    Packaging:

    For 10 g in an aluminum tube. Each tube together with the instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature not exceeding 10 ° ะก.
