    Pharmacodynamics:

    The drug has a virucidal effect on the influenza virus in direct contact with the virus-containing material, prevents the reproduction of the virus in the cells, blocking the binding sites of the influenza virus (predominantly type A2) to the surface of the cell membrane.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    When applied to the nasal mucosa, up to 20% of the drug is absorbed. In the body, it is not cumulated and excreted mainly by the kidneys during the day.

    Indications:

    Prevention of influenza, treatment of viral rhinitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Carefully:Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 2 years.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Locally.

    For the prevention of influenza: a strip of ointment from 3 to 5 mm is lubricated daily 2-3 times a day by the nasal mucosa during the rise and maximum development of an epidemic outbreak of influenza (for 25 days) or in contact with a sick flu.

    Treatment of viral rhinitis: a strip of ointment from 3 to 5 mm lubricate the mucosa of the nose 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days.

    Side effects:A rapid burning sensation of the nasal mucosa, rhinorrhea.
    In rare cases, blue staining of the nasal mucosa is possible.
    Overdose:
