    ointment for external use

    Composition:1 g of ointment contains: active substance: dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene (oxonaphthylline, oxoline) - 0.03 g; Excipients: Vaseline - up to 1 g.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiviral for external use. Has antiviral activity, blocking the binding of the virus to the surface of the cell membrane, prevents the reproduction of the virus in cells. To the action of dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene sensitive viruses Herpes simplex, herpes zoster, adenoviruses, viruses of infectious warts and molluscum contagiosum.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    When applied to the skin absorbed about 5% of the drug. In the body, it is not cumulated and excreted mainly by the kidneys during the day.

    Indications:Treatment of warts (ordinary, flat and genital warts).
