    Pharmacodynamics:Stabilizes the cell membranes, interacts with the active forms of oxygen, free radicals, shows the properties of the chelator of metals of variable valence. Reduces the amount of products of lipid peroxidation, the content of which increases with cardiovascular diseases.
    Pharmacokinetics:Not studied.
    Indications:Acute myocardial infarction in combination with thrombolytic drugs to eliminate the reperfusion complications caused by them, angina pectoris. As part of complex therapy with the following ophthalmopathologies:

    - dystrophic diseases of the retina and cornea, macular degeneration;

    - primary open-angle glaucoma;

    - diabetic retinopathy of the retina;

    - vitreous hemorrhage, retina, anterior chamber;

    - dyscirculatory disorder in the central artery and vein of the retina.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, children's age (under 18 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
    Dosing and Administration:Intravenously sprayed: 50-100 mg of the preparation (5-10 ml of a 1% solution) immediately before administration is dissolved in 20 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution. If necessary, repeated administration in the same dose.

    In the form of subconjunctival and parabulbar injections, 0.3-0.5 ml of the solution 0.2 mg / ml daily or every other day. The course of treatment is 5-10 injections. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 3-4 months.

    Side effects:Soreness along the vein (without development of phlebitis).

    In the first 2 days after application - staining the urine in a dark red color.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:No data. Treatment is symptomatic.
    Interaction:Do not mix the solution with preparations that contain proteins, calcium and iron salts.
