Pharmacodynamics:Keratolytic, anti-acne, antiseborrhoea, antiscabic, antierosolar effects are caused by the formation of pentathionic acid when interacting with epithelial cells and certain microorganisms. Sulfides have a keratoplastic effect, restoring the stratum corneum.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity.
Carefully:Children under 6 years. Apply 10% ointment, which is equally effective and safe for scabies in comparison with 0.3% gamma-benzenhexachloride.

Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. Apply to the skin 1 time per day in the evening, for 7-10 days.

Side effects:Allergic reactions.
Interaction:Abrasives, medical soaps, cleansers and products containing exfoliating ingredients (benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, salicylic acid), isotretinoin, tretinoin and other anti-acne agents for topical use, alcohol-containing products (after shave lotions, astringents, perfumes), cosmetics or soaps with a strong drying effect, medical cosmetics or medical disguises - excessive irritation, dry skin (using abrasives, peelings, exfoliating agents).
Mercury compounds for topical application - the liberation of hydrogen sulphide, which has an unpleasant odor, irritating properties and coloring the skin in black.
Special instructions:In combination with sulfacetamide, it is superior to placebo in its effectiveness.There is no reliable evidence of the benefits of any of the means, including metronidazole, tetracycline and a combination of different drugs, on the effectiveness and safety in the treatment of acne.
In short-term treatment courses, a combination of azelaic acid with metronidazole and the use of tetracycline and doxycycline are effective.
