    • Pharmacodynamics:

    PEAKOVIT® FORTE contains the 11 most important vitamins in amounts corresponding to the recommended doses for children aged 7 years and older.

    Vitamins of group B (Bl, AT2, AT6, AT12, pantothenic acid and nicotinamide) participate in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

    Folic acid It is necessary for the normal synthesis, regeneration and functioning of blood cells.

    Vitamin A is necessary for the development of epithelial cells and the synthesis of visual pigment.

    Vitamin D regulates the intake of calcium and promotes proper mineralization of bones and teeth.

    Vitamin C promotes the absorption of iron and takes part in many oxidation-reduction processes in the body.

    Vitamin E is a physiological antioxidant that protects cell membranes and supports the function of cells. PEAKOVIT® FORTE does not contain sugar.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Water-soluble vitamins (B vitamins, vitamin C and biotin) are well absorbed in amounts corresponding to the daily needs of the organism.The amounts exceeding the saturation level of the tissues are excreted in the urine and, sometimes, with feces. Regular intake of these vitamins is important to maintain the necessary concentrations in the tissues, since they accumulate in the body in limited quantities.

    When administered orally, fat-soluble vitamins A and D are well absorbed in the small intestine in the presence of fats. Absorption of vitamin E is rather weak (25-85% of the dose).

    Indications:

    PEAKOVIT® FORTE is recommended for use in children from the age of 7 with increased body requirement for vitamins:

    - a decrease in the concentration of attention on the background of increased fatigue in children of school age;

    - increased physical activity (including in sports);

    - increased need for vitamins against a background of reduced appetite;

    - in the complex treatment of diseases when prescribing antibiotics;

    - increased need for vitamins with reduced seasonal consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits.

    Contraindications:

    - Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

    - hypervitaminosis A and D;

    - children's age till 7 years;

    - PIKOVIT® FORTE includes aspartame, containing phenylalanine, so the drug is not recommended for patients with phenylketonuria.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Tablets should be kept in the mouth until they are completely absorbed.

    Children from the age of 7: 1 tablet once a day after meals.

    With poor appetite, the baby should be given 1 tablet a day for 2 months.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. In such cases, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

    PEAKOVIT® FORTE contains 0.6 g of maltitol, so taking doses that are higher than recommended can cause diarrhea.

    If there are side effects, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

    Overdose:

    When an overdose develops against the background of taking high doses of the drug for more than 1 month, hypervitaminosis of vitamins A and D.

    Long-term use of high doses of vitamin B6 can cause the development of peripheral neuropathy.

    Special instructions:

    If you need to take other vitamin preparations at the same time, you should consult a doctor.

    Patients with diabetes can take PEAKOVIT® FORTE. At the same time, it should be remembered that one lozenge contains 0.6 g of maltitol.For the metabolism of maltitol, insulin is needed, although due to slow hydrolysis and absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, the need for insulin is small. The energy value of a single lozenge is approximately 6 kJ (1.4 kcal).

    The tablets covered with a cover.

    Packaging:

    For 15 tablets in a blister of PVC / PE / PVDC with aluminum foil. 2 blisters per pack of cardboard along with instructions for use.

    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C, in the original packaging.
