    Leaves of plantain large contain mucus, tannins, flavonoids, ascorbic acid, carotene and other biologically active substances.
    Description:

    Pieces of leaves of various forms of green or brownish-green color. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is weakly harsh.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Infusion of leaves of plantain increases the secretion of bronchial glands, renders mucolytic,anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, increases its acidity.

    Indications:

    Applied as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract (bronchitis, tracheitis, etc.).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to plantain large. Hyper secretion of gastric juice, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum during exacerbation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (2 tablespoons) leaf plantain placed in an enamel dish, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, close the lid and in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, and then pushing at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter the remaining raw materials squeeze . The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Infusion take inside 2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day 30 minutes after eating for 7-10 days.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
