    Composition:1 suppository contains:

    active substance: prostate extract (Prostatilen®) * 0.03 g;

    Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide 0.09 g, macrogol -1500 is sufficient to obtain a suppository weighing 2.8 g.

    * - the substance Prostatilen® is a prostate extract with the addition of glycine.
    Description:

    Suppressor torpedo shape, from white to yellow, allowed marbling. On the cut, marble is allowed, the presence of an air rod or a funnel-shaped depression.

    Pharmacodynamics:Has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces the degree of edema, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate gland,normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of the acini, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Reduces thrombus formation, has antiaggregant activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate gland.
    Indications:

    Chronic abacterial prostatitis, conditions before and after operations on the prostate gland, benign prostatic hyperplasia.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Rectally.

    Before use, the suppository should be moistened with water. 1 suppository is injected deep into the anus after defecation or enema 1 time per day (morning or evening) or 2 times a day (morning and evening). After the introduction, it is desirable to stay in bed for 30-40 minutes.

    Course of treatment - at least 10 days with chronic prostatitis, at least 15 days - with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions (hives) are possible. In this case, the drug is discontinued and antihistamines are prescribed.

    Overdose:The drug is not toxic, no overdose has been observed.
    Interaction:

    Compatible with antibacterial drugs used to treat prostatitis.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    Does not affect the ability to engage in potentially hazardous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions, for example, vehicle management.

    Form release / dosage:

    Suppositories rectal, 30 mg.

    Packaging:

    There are 5 suppositories in a contiguous cell package.

    One or two contour packs with instructions for use in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:
