    Characteristic
    Chamomile flowers contain flavonoids, volatile oil, coumarins, and other biologically active substances.
    Description:Pieces of partially or completely crumbling flower baskets. The color is brownish or greenish-yellow with white, yellowish-white, yellow, green, greenish-brown or brown patches. The smell is strong, fragrant. The taste of water extract is spicy, bitter, slightly slimy.

    Pharmacodynamics:Infusion of chamomile flowers has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and moderate antimicrobial effect, reduces the processes of fermentation in the intestine, increases the secretion of digestive glands.

    Indications:It is applied internally in complex therapy for chronic gastritis,peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic enteritis, chronic colitis, flatulence, intestinal spasms, diarrhea (diarrhea).
    Locally - for rinses with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).
    In the form of microclystia is used for spastic colitis, hemorrhoids.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the drug.
    Pregnancy and lactation:Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
    Dosing and Administration:About 9 g (2 tablespoons) of chamomile flowers are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, heat in a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, remaining raw materials squeeze out. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.
    Infusion is taken orally in a warm form 2-3 times daily before meals: adults and children over 12 years old - 2-3 tablespoons; children from 7 to 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons; children from 3 to 6 years - 1 tablespoon; children under 3 years - 1 teaspoonful.
    Locally, to rinse the mouth and throat, apply 1/2 to 1 glass of warm infusion 3-5 times a day.
    Rectally in the form of microclystia, enter 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day in the rectum.
    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:Allergic reactions are possible.

    Overdose:Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.
    Interaction:It is not recommended to apply chamomile drugs at the same time as anticoagulants, as the coumarins contained in chamomile strengthen their effect.
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
