Composition:

For 1 lozengte:

Active substances:

Benzalkonium chloride 1.00 mg

Mint peppery oil 1.00 mg

Eucalyptus oil 0.60 mg

Levomenthol 1.20 mg Timol 0.60 mg

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, paraffin liquid, glycerol. castor oil ordinary castor oil (castor oil), defoamer 1510 *, sorbitol, dextrose liquid [dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides] (dry matter), magnesium stearate, dye quinoline yellow (E104), dye indigo carmine (E132), titanium dioxide (E171 ), Povidone-K25, Capol 600 Pharma **, sucrose.

* Antifoaming agent 1510 contains polydimethylsiloxane.

** Capol 600 Farma contains: beeswax white, carnauba wax, shellac.

Description:Round biconvex pastilles of light green color with possible impregnations of white color.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:Antiseptic

Pharmacodynamics:The drug Sepethlet contains benzalkonium chloride and thymol, which have antiseptic properties (are active against gram-positive bacteria, have a fungicidal effect on Candida albicans and some lipophilic viruses). Menthol and essential oil of peppermint have a moderate analgesic and deodorant effect. Essential oil of eucalyptus reduces the secretion of mucus in the upper respiratory tract and facilitates breathing.

Indications:

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat:

- pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis;

- inflammation of the gums and mucous membrane of the mouth (gingivitis, stomatitis).

Contraindications:

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

- Children under 4 years.

- Lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency, sugarase / isomaltase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.

Pregnancy and lactation:Pregnant and breastfeeding women can take the drug Septhotte only on the advice of a doctor.

Dosing and Administration:

1 lozenge slowly dissolve in the mouth every 2-3 hours.

Children over 4 years old it is recommended to take up to 4 lozenges a day.

Children over 10 years old it is recommended to take up to 6 lozenges a day.

Adults and children over 12 years of age it is recommended to take up to 8 lozenges per day. The lozenges dissolve until completely dissolved.

Do not take the lozenges immediately before eating and with milk.

Side effects:

Disorders from the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, diarrhea.

Allergic reactions are possible (in patients with increased sensitivity to the components of the drug).

Overdose:

The possibility of an overdose is minimal.

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Interaction:Benzalkonium chloride is not recommended for use with other antiseptics intended for resorption in the oral cavity.

Special instructions:

Patients with diabetes should remember that each lozenge contains 174.5 mg of sugar (sucrose, dextrose).

It is recommended to refrain from the simultaneous reception of the drug Sepptethon with milk, since milk reduces the antiseptic effect of benzalkonium chloride.

In 1 lozenge contains 218 mg of lactose, 623.575 mg of sucrose, 152.7 mg of sorbitol, therefore, Septotlet should not be taken to patients with lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency, sugarase / isomaltase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, which can lead to digestive disorders.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug Septhote does not affect the ability to drive and other mechanical means.

Form release / dosage:

Pastilles.

Packaging:

For 15 pastilles in a blister of the combined material PVC / PVDC and foil aluminum.

2 blisters per pack of cardboard along with instructions for use.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C, in the original packaging.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

2 years.

Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
