    Pharmacodynamics:

    The cationic detergent is embedded in the cell membrane and damages the membrane, blocking its barrier function, which causes cell death.

    It has bactericidal activity against gram-positive (streptococcus, staphylococcus, etc.) and Gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, etc.) bacteria. Active with respect to virus Herpes simplex type 2, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Staphylococcus aureus, Chlamydia spp., Trichomonas vaginalis; does not affect Mycoplasma spp. Has a weak effect on Gardnerella vaginalis, Haemophilus ducreyi, Treponema pallidum and Candida albicans.

    Has a contraceptive effect, does not change the normal microflora of the vagina and the hormonal cycle of a woman.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    The drug for topical application does not have a systemic effect.

    Indications:

    It is used for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, secondary infection of wounds. Used to treat wounds, drainage of bone cavities in osteomyelitis. It is used for the treatment of superficial thermal burns, long-lasting non-healing wounds of soft tissues. Used as a local contraceptive and for disinfection of medical devices, as well as premises.

    Dosing and Administration:

    For topical application: 1% solution impregnate gauze bandages, tampons or napkins and superimpose on the wound. Dressings are performed daily for 14 days.

    The maximum daily dose: 50 g.

    Intravaginal: deep in the vagina before intercourse.

    Liquid concentrate is used for disinfection of premises, after dilution with water.

    Side effects:

    Contact dermatitis, vulvovaginitis, candidiasis, allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not described.

    Treatment is symptomatic.

    Interaction:

    Inactivate the action of the drug any medicinal substances introduced into the vagina, as well as iodine preparations, soap, shampoo and other hygiene products containing detergents and actively surface substances.

    Special instructions:

    The effectiveness of the contraceptive effect of the drug is low, to a greater extent, it is used to prevent sexually transmitted infections.
