    Composition:

    Composition per 1 g:

    Active ingredient:

    Solcoseryl (deproteinized dialysate from the blood of dairy calves), in terms of dry matter 2.07 mg / g.

    Excipients:

    Solcoseryl ointment - methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, cetyl alcohol, cholesterol, white petrolatum, water for injections.

    Description:

    Homogeneous, fatty mass from white to white with a yellowish hue of color. Characteristic light odor Solkoserila (smell of meat broth) and Vaseline.

  • Pharmacodynamics:

    Solcoseryl is a deproteinized hemodialyzate containing a wide range of low molecular weight components of the cell mass and serum of dairy calves with a molecular weight 5000D (glycoproteins, nucleosides and nucleotides, oligopeptides, amino acids).

    It is established that SOLKOSERIL has the following properties:

    - improves the transport of oxygen and glucose to cells under hypoxic conditions;

    - increases the synthesis of intracellular ATP and promotes an increase in the proportion of aerobic glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation;

    - activates reparative and regenerative processes in tissues;

    - stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts and the synthesis of collagen wall vessels. Solcoseryl gel does not contain as auxiliary components of fats, thanks to which it is easily washed off. Promotes the formation of granulation tissue and the elimination of exudate.

    Since the appearance of fresh granulations and drying of the wound, it is recommended to apply Solcoseryl ointment, containing as auxiliary components of fat and forming a protective film on the wound surface.

    Indications:

    Solcoseryl gel / ointment is used in the following cases:

    1. minor damage (abrasions, scratches, cuts)

    2. Burns 1 and 2 degrees (sunburn, thermal burns)

    3. frostbite

    4. difficult healing wounds (including trophic ulcers and pressure sores).

    For the treatment of trophic lesions of tissues of various origins, Solcoseryl is used only after removal of necrotic tissues from the wound.

    Solcoseryl gel is used in the initial stage of treatment and applied to fresh wounds, wounds with a wet detachable or ulcers with wetness phenomena.

    Solcoseryl ointment is used primarily for the treatment of dry (non-clogging) wounds.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the drug.

    Carefully:

    Carefully It should be used with a predisposition to allergic reactions.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Solcoseryl is applied topically, applied directly to the wound surface after preliminary cleaning of the wound with the use of a disinfectant solution.

    Prior to the treatment of trophic ulcers, as well as in cases of purulent infection of the wound, preliminary surgical treatment is necessary.

    Solcoseryl gel applied to fresh wounds, wounds with a wet detachable, to ulcers with wetting phenomena a thin layer on the cleansed wound 2-3 times a day. Sites with begun epithelization are recommended to be lubricated with Solcoseryl ointment. The use of Solcoseryl gel is continued until the formation of a pronounced granulation tissue on the damaged surface of the skin and the drying of the wound.

    Solcoseryl ointment Apply a thin layer on the cleansed wound 1-2 times a day. Solcoseryl ointment can be used under bandages. The course of treatment with Solcoseryl ointment continues until the wound is completely healed, its epithelization and the formation of elastic scar tissue.

    For the treatment of severe trophic injuries of the skin and soft tissues, the simultaneous use of parenteral forms of Solcoseryl is recommended.

    Side effects:

    1. In rare cases, at the site of Solcoseryl application allergic reactions may develop in the form of hives, marginal dermatitis. In this case, stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

    2. A place of application of Solcoseryl gel may show a brief burning sensation. If the burning does not last long, use of Solcoseryl gel should be discarded.

    Overdose:Information on the effects of an overdose of Solcoseryl gel / ointment is absent.
    Interaction:

    The interaction of Solcoseryl with other topical drugs has not been established.

    Special instructions:

    Solcoseryl should not be applied to a contaminated wound, as it does not contain antimicrobial components;

    The use of Solcoseryl, as well as all other drugs, is undesirable during pregnancy and lactation and is possible only if absolutely necessary and under the supervision of a doctor;

    In case of pain, reddening of skin areas near the place of application of Solcoseryl, secretion of secretion from the wound, increase in temperature, it is necessary to urgently consult a doctor;

    If Solkoseril does not heal the affected area within 2-3 weeks, please consult a doctor.

    Packaging:

    20 grams per aluminum tubes. The tube together with the instruction for use is placed in a cardboard box.
