Ayr rhizomes - instructions for use, doses, side effects, contraindications

Pieces of rhizomes of various shapes passing through a sieve with apertures measuring 7 mm. Color yellowish or pinkish, sometimes grayish-light green. The smell is strong, fragrant, characteristic. The taste of water extract is spicy-bitter.

Pharmacodynamics:

The rhizomes of the aura of the ordinary contain the bitter substance of acorin, essential oil, tannins, resins, ascorbic acid and other biologically active substances.

Irritating the taste receptors of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue, the infusion of the rhizomes of the aura reflexively increases the secretion of gastric juice, increases appetite and improves digestion.

Indications:

It is used as a means of increasing appetite and improving digestion in complex therapy for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (including chronic gastritis, dyspeptic disorders, biliary dyskinesia, chronic cholecystitis).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children's age (up to 12 years).

Dosing and Administration:

10 g (2 tablespoons) of crushed rhizomes are placed in enameled pots, poured into 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

Take inside in a warm form for 1/4 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:

To date, cases of overdoses have not been recorded.

Not studied.

Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

The intake of the drug does not affect the ability to carry out potentially dangerous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).

Storage conditions:

In a dry place protected from light.

Prepared water extraction - in a dark cool place no more than 2 days. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life:

3 years.
