    • Pharmacodynamics:

    Replenishes the lack of iron in the body, associated with poor digestion in the gastrointestinal tract, blood loss, inadequate nutrition, increased need for iron. Thanks to the content of substances related to biogenic stimulants, it has a stimulating effect on metabolic processes: it improves cellular metabolism, trophic and tissue regeneration, increases the overall nonspecific resistance of the organism.

    Indications:

    Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency conditions (latent iron deficiency, iron deficiency anemia).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug components, chronic heart failure, arterial hypertension, hemorrhoids, cystitis, inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract during the exacerbation, cholelithiasis, ghemochromatosis, sideroachrestic anemia, lead poisoning, hemolytic (hereditary or acquired), and other anemia not associated with iron deficiency; chronic renal failure, metrorrhagia, hemoptysis, children's age (under 18 years).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    It is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation due to the lack of special studies.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. 1 / 2-1 teaspoon of syrup is bred in 1 / 2-1 / 4 glass of water and take 3 times a day for 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. The course of treatment is 15-30 days. Repeated courses of treatment (before the recovery of hemoglobin) are possible under the supervision of a doctor.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions (itching, rashes), increased blood pressure, dyspeptic phenomena (abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, nausea, vomiting), headache, dizziness; dark staining of enamel of teeth, stool.

    Overdose:

    To date, no cases of drug overdose have been reported.

    Symptoms: increased side effects, hyperthermia, palpitation, paresthesia, convulsive seizures.

    Treatment: gastric lavage, inside - raw egg, milk (for binding of iron ions in the gastrointestinal tract). In case of severe poisoning - specific antidote therapy (deferoxamine); symptomatic therapy.

    Interaction:

    Pharmaceutically incompatible with drugs containing SH-gruppy.

    Reduces the absorption of (mutually) antibiotics of the tetracycline group.

    Antacid drugs, colloidal bismuth citrate, calcium phosphate, chloramphenicol, colestramine, Colestipol, pancreatin, Zn2+, tocopherol, vegetables, cereals, egg yolk, tea reduce the absorption of the drug; ascorbic acid increases.

    Reduces the effectiveness of quinolones, levodopa, levothyroxine sodium, methyldopa, penicillin, sulfasalazine.

    Special instructions:

    To avoid darkening of enamel of teeth it is possible to take in the form of a solution for drinking through a tube.
