    Composition:

    Description:

    Tablets are white, flat-cylindrical, round with a facet and risk, slightly marble, odorless or with a weak characteristic odor.

    N.02.B.A   Salicylic acid and its derivatives

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Acetylsalicylic acid refers to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action. Reduces the aggregation capacity of platelets.

    Indications:

    Feverish syndrome with infectious and inflammatory diseases.Moderately or mildly expressed pain syndrome (of various origins): headache (including associated with alcohol withdrawal syndrome), toothache, migraine, neuralgia, lumbago, radicular syndrome, myalgia, arthralgia, algodismenorea.

    The expediency of using the drug is decided in each case, depending on the severity, nature and tolerability of the fever.
    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid (including to other NSAIDs NSAIDs), erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (in the phase of exacerbation), gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhagic diathesis, bronchial asthma induced by the intake of salicylates and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), a combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent nasal polyposis and paranasal sinuses and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid, simultaneous reception of methotrexate in a dose of 15 mg / week. and more, pregnancy (I and III trimester), lactation period, children under 15 years of age - when used as an antipyretic agent, children under 3 years of age - when used as an analgesic.

    Carefully:

    Gout, hyperuricemia, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer or gastrointestinal hemorrhage (in the anamnesis), renal / hepatic insufficiency, bronchial asthma, hay fever, nasal polyposis, drug allergy, simultaneous reception of methotrexate in a dose of less than 15 mg / week. , concomitant anticoagulant therapy, pregnancy (II trimester).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Pregnancy (I and III trimester) and the period of breastfeeding the drug is not prescribed.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside. Tablets containing acetylsalicylic acid in doses over 325 mg (400-500 mg) are designed for use as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug.

    Inside, with pain syndrome and feverish conditions, adults - 0.5-1 g / day. (up to 3 g), divided into 3 doses. Duration of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks.

    Single dose is 0.5 g, the maximum single dose is 1.0 g, taken after meals 3 times a day with an interval of at least 4 hours.

    The maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days when used as an analgesic and 3 days as an antipyretic agent (without careful medical supervision).
    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions - skin rash, bronchospasm.

    Gastrointestinal disorders - nausea, vomiting, pain in the epigastric region, diarrhea. With prolonged use, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract may occur, including bleeding, hearing loss, kidney and liver function.

    Hemorrhagic syndrome (epistaxis, bleeding gums), increase in clotting time.

    All of the side effects (including unusual ones), including those not mentioned above, should be reported to the treating physician.

    Overdose:

    Deadly intoxication is possible when taking a dose of 200-500 mg / kg. If suspected poisoning should immediately seek medical help. In the initial stage of poisoning, the symptoms of excitation of the central nervous system develop, dizziness, visual and hearing impairments, nausea, vomiting, and increased breathing. Later there comes depression of consciousness down to a coma, the respiratory insufficiency, disturbance of water-electrolyte metabolism. If signs of poisoning should be caused by vomiting or rinsing of the stomach, appoint Activated carbon. Treatment should be carried out in a specialized department.

    Interaction:

    When using acid acetylsalicylic, patients receiving antidiabetic drugs should regularly monitor blood sugar levels. Careful observation requires a combination of the use of the drug with glucocorticoids, antihypertensive and diuretics; antacid preparations containing magnesium hydroxide or aluminum should be taken no earlier than 2 hours after taking acetylsalicylic acid.

    With prolonged use of the drug should periodically do a general blood test and check for blood in the stool.

    Special instructions:

    Only after consultation with a physician the question of the use of acetylsalicylic acid is given to patients who have previously suffered from a peptic ulcer stomach and duodenum, and also suffered gastrointestinal bleeding.

    Application preparation of patients suffering from allergic diseases (bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, skin itching, swelling of the nasal mucosa) is also recommended under medical supervision.
