    Composition:

    Acilactum, vaginal suppositories is a microbial mass of living, antagonistically active acidophilic lactobacilli strains Lactobacillus acidophilus 100аш, NK1, TO3W24, lyophilized in a culture medium with the addition of a protective sugar-gelatin-lactic medium and formed into medical suppositories.

    One suppository contains at least 107 live acidophilic lactobacilli (1 dose), auxiliary substances - paraffin oil solid, emulsifier T - 2, solid fat. Weight of the suppository - 1.3 g.

    Description:Suppositories are yellowish-gray or light-beige in color, torpedo-shaped. Non-uniformity of color in the form of inclusions or "marbling" is allowed.

    Pharmacodynamics:The living lactobacillus acidophilus possess high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms including Staphylococcus, enteropathogenic E. coli, Proteus, which determines the normalizing effect of the drug in disorders tank- teriotsenoza female genitalia. Lactobacilli metabolize the glycogen of the vaginal epithelium to lactic acid, which maintains the pH of the vagina at 3.8-4.02. High concentration of lactic acid creates unfavorable conditions for life acid-sensitive pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria. Acidified genital mucosa, lactobacilli are involved in the formation of the barrier and provides environmental resistance to the genital mucosa extraneous microflora.
    Indications:

    Appointment. Treatment of adult patients with vaginal dysbacteriosis and nonspecific inflammatory processes of the vagina.

    Indications for use.

    - nonspecific colpites (not connectedData with gonococcal, trichomonas, candidiasis and other specific infections). Assign as an independent agent or after the end of the course of antibiotic therapy;

    - dysbacteriosis of the vagina, including bacterial vaginosis (gardnerellez). Assign as an independent tool or in a complex therapy;

    - as ancillary meansand in the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases: gonorrhea, urogenital chlamydiosis, urogenital herpes, etc. The drug is used to restore normal microflora and colonize the vagina lactobacilli in combination and after a specific antimicrobial,antiviral and immunomodulatory therapy. Combined use of suppositories and oral forms of acylactone is recommended.

    Contraindications:It is not recommended for vulvovaginal candidiasis.
    Dosing and Administration:
    Prior to intravaginal administration, the package is removed from the suppository.

    With dysbacteriosis of the vagina and sineal vaginitis of hormonal nature, the drug is prescribed 1 suppository 2 times a day for 5-10 days.

    When the purity of vaginal secretion in pregnant women is violated III-IV degree of the drug is used for 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days or more under the control of the restoration of purity of the vaginal secretion to I-II degree and disappearance of clinical symptoms.

    In order to prevent purulent-septic complications with planned gynecological operations, 1 suppository is used 1-2 times a day for 10 days. If necessary, the course is repeated for 3-4 months with an interval of 10-20 days.

    Interaction:The use of suppositories can be combined with the simultaneous administration of antibacterial, antiviral and immunomodulating medications.However, it is not recommended to combine antibacterial drugs with simultaneous local administration.
